German Shepherd Dog Rescue Houston
German Shepherd Dog Rescue Houston
Every year 2.5 million dogs are euthanized in the United States simply because there are not enough homes for them all. Because the German Shepherd Dog enjoys such immense popularity, ranking 3rd in AKC registrations in 2000, many euthanized are German Shepherd Dogs.

GSDRH was formed in mid 1999 by a group of caring individuals, bound by a deep love and admiration for the breed, in response to the large number of homeless and abandoned German Shepherd Dogs in the Houston area.

Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League
Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League
The Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, Inc. (MAGDRL) was organized in 1979 to serve the seven states of the Mid-Atlantic region. It now covers NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE, VA, DC, WV, NC, and SC.

The organization is a DC corporation and has a charitable tax-exemption under code 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code - 52-1177018.

MAGDRL is staffed completely by volunteers. Therefore, 100% of the funds donated to our organization are used to help our Great Danes. Like all humane groups, MAGDRL is in the unique position of helping both humans and pets. In our case, the pets are Great Danes and mixed Dane dogs, and the people are all those who have or want the companionship of the breed or often, just dogs in general.

Animal Place
Animal Place
Animal Place is committed to promoting compassion for all species and educating the public about the unjustifiable cruelty of factory farming and the far reaching benefits of veganism. They rescue farm animals and others that the rest of the world doesn't want, and let them live the rest of their years in peace.

Your donation not only helps the animals in our care, but also is used to help protect the billions more that are being raised and slaughtered each year. In addition to running the sanctuary, we also work to end the suffering and needless death of farmed animals through our extensive, nationwide humane education programs, public farm tours, and vegan outreach efforts.

Last Chance for Animals
Last Chance for Animals
Last Chance for Animals (LCA) recognizes that animals have the ability to experience pain, and as such they deserve certain basic rights protecting them from pain caused by humans. LCA believes that non-human animals should not be subjected to suffering and exploitation by humans because alternatives exist for nearly every traditional "usage" of animals.

A portion of the net proceeds (approx 70%) from the sale of your car goes directly to LCA. Costs such as towing and administrative costs are deducted from the gross sale of your car.

Happy Tails
Happy Tails
Happy Tails, Sacramento's first no-kill pet sanctuary, was founded in 1993 by volunteers committed to a common goal: To create a safe haven for abandoned and abused animals.

What started out as six like-minded people in 1993, has grown to an all-volunteer organization with over 200 volunteers by June 2006. Our volunteers worked hard to open our Adopt-A-Pet Center Sacramento's first cage-free adoption center. We continue to work towards obtaining and operating a larger facility to serve as a true pet sanctuary.
