Helping Hands: Monkey Helpers for the Disabled is a national nonprofit serving quadriplegic and other people with severe spinal cord injuries or mobility-impairments by providing highly trained monkeys to assist with daily activities. As live-in companions, our monkey helpers provide 20-30 years of service, bringing the gifts of independence, companionship, dignity and hope to the people they help.
Helping Hands also educates thousands of young people annually in schools, camps, and youth programs through the Spinal Cord Injury Prevention Program (SCIPP.) SCIPP teaches preventive measures for safety awareness and making good choices, heightens sensitivity to the challenges of being disabled, and promotes understanding of the human-animal bond.

|Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc.|
Welcome to the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS), a non-profit organization created in 2005. We work in conjunction with the Baltimore City Bureau of Animal Control. Together our mission is to protect animals from neglect, abuse and exploitation, to advocate their interests and welfare, and to inspire awareness and compassion for all living things.
The day-to-day operation of BARCS involves the direct handling of lost, abandoned, unwanted and injured pets and wildlife. We accept all animals. BARCS encourages adoption of its animals by providing a low-cost adoption package, which includes the animal's neuter/spay surgery and first vaccinations. To ensure that only caring and responsible owners adopt our animals, we also require all new owners to attend an adoption course. During the class, the adopter is issued a city license (city residents only), rabies certificate, and an adoption package that includes helpful information regarding pet ownership.

|Sea Shepherd Conservation Society|
Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, "the most aggressive, determined, active, and effective defender of marine wildlife in the world today" has been on the forefront of marine protection since 1977.
Our conservation patrols are led by Sea Shepherd Founder and President Captain Paul Watson and are crewed by dedicated volunteers from around the world. Neptune’s Navy, our fleet of conservation vessels, includes our flagship the R/V Farley Mowat (a 50-meter ice-strengthened conservation research vessel) and the Sirenian (a 32-meter fast patrol vessel).
From protecting whales in the Antarctic and off of the coast of Norway, exposing the dolphin slaughter in Japan, defending baby seals off of the east coast of Canada, and patrolling the Galapagos Marine Reserve, our direct action and documentation has saved hundreds of thousands of lives of marine wildlife worldwide and brought unparalleled international attention to their plights.
Your support is our most valued asset. Your contributions help keep our ships fueled and active on the high seas protecting endangered whales, dolphins, seals! They depend on us for protection --- we depend on you to get us there.
Donate a Car, Truck, Trailer, Boat or RV

Funding is all out of my pocket with a few donations and adoption fees helping with feed, housing and vet expenses. We have just become a Not-For-Profit organization. We are currently home to 62 rabbits, with an addition 14 rabbits in foster care. We also care for two chinchillas, 2 pigeons and 3 doves. They also have nowhere to go.
My goal is to provide the best possible care for my furry friends. They are spayed/neutered, vet checked, and socialized. They live a quiet, safe, healthy life here until they are adopted.
Got an old clunker? Missed the 'cash for clunkers' program? Fear not! Your unwanted vehicle can now help the Rabbit Haven bunnies!
You donate your car, boat, truck, RV, motorcycle, snowmobile, van, jet-ski, motorhome or bus. They don't even have to be running (or...hopping!)
