Gail P. Ramos Lung Cancer Foundation
The Gail P. Ramos Lung Cancer Foundation is committed to driving down the number of cases and deaths from lung cancer. To this end, we will do the following:
Raise funds for research - The majority of our expenditures will be to fund medical research deemed appropriate by a committee of experts in oncology and integrated medicine. We will solicit research funding requests from entities engaged in lung cancer research and evaluate those requests on a strict set of criteria before disbursing funds.
Develop educational programs - Prevention is a critical part of our efforts. Educating people about the dangers of smoking and other environmental hazards will be done through the development of educational literature, school presentations, speaker events and other outreach programs.
Provide assistance to those affected - For patients, our staff and website will educate them about conventional and alternative treatment options depending on the patient's particular situation. We will set up support groups in local communities to provide support for lung cancer victims. As funds permit, we will provide transportation assistance and subsidies for those undergoing treatment. Since lung cancer can impact entire families in addition to the patient, we will provide college scholarships to the children of those affected by this disease.
All of these initiatives will be funded through donations from private individuals and corporate contributions. It is our intention to direct as much of our proceeds as possible back to our programs. Our long-term goal is to keep expenses at or below 10% of our donation proceeds.
It is easy to donate you old car, truck, boat or RV. Simply click on the logo above, and you will be taken to the Donation Line website where you can make arrangements to donate your car online! Your donation will be auctioned and the proceeds directed towards helping those affected by lung cancer.
Our Purpose is to give people a way to be obedient to the biblical command of caring for orphans in a responsible and generous manner.
Our Mission is to, by 2026, give 10,000 orphanages hope and a future by providing physical, emotional and spiritual care through the God's Kids Network.
We see, in three short words, the goal of God's Kids as Giving Orphans Hope.
Are you thinking of selling or junking your old vehicle, RV or boat? Why not donate it to God's Kids? Your unwanted car, RV or boat donation can make a big difference to the children we help.
AnimalSave exists to end the needless killing of adoptable/ treatable companion animals and to ensure their humane treatment by rescuing, fostering, and placing homeless animals, encouraging spay/neuter, bringing animals and people together to enrich each others' lives; and promoting the concept that every companion animal deserves respect, as well as a loving home.
AnimalSave envisions a better future where animals will be respected for their unique role in making the world a better place, where there is a stable, loving home for every adoptable/treatable companion animal to complete its natural lifespan, and where people will embrace and understand the value of spay/neuter, humane treatment and responsible pet guardianship. We believe education is an important step.
Use AnimalSave's Car Donation program to get rid of your vehicle and, at the same time, help local animals.
Goodwill of Orange County
Goodwill of Orange County is much more than the sum of our thrift stores and donation centers. We offer job training, placement, and the tools to achieve individual success to people with disabilities and other barriers. But the most critical thing we offer is opportunity. The people we work with don't want charity, they want a chance to succeed. And they pursue success the same way we all do. By doing their best. Working with total dedication. And always trying to do better.
By donating your car, bus, van or truck to Goodwill, you can help people with disabilities and other barriers gain independence. Revenues from the resale of these vehicles fund Goodwill training and employment programs and services.

Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Association
Founded in 1998, Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Association began to provide support to friends of our founder, Lori Butterworth, when their son Jacob was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She observed how little support other families received and was inspired to begin Jacob's Heart.
The services of Jacob's Heart extend beyond the child. We believe that by caring for the entire family, we can best support the child; offering support to hundreds parents and siblings. With help from our community, countless volunteers, and a dedicated board of directors and staff, we are making a difference.
For vehicles that are appropriate for families and in great working condition... we pass them through to Jacob's Heart families! All of our families travel to either Stanford or UCSF for treatment; for families without transportation your donated car can change their life.
For vehicles that are in less-than-reliable condition your donated car can still make a difference to our families through the Donate Car USA program. Help us to assist children with cancer, and improve their quality of life through auto donation.
Kiona T. Jenkins heroically fought brain cancer for nearly 4 years. Even after a second relapse, she was always the perfect example of cancer survivorship and an advocate for cancer survivorship issues. The Kiona Foundation was founded in response to the ever growing cancer survivor population. Our services have recently expanded to include information and resources relating to nutrition, natural healing, organics and vegetarianism.
While our vision and list of services have expanded, we still maintain our original mission to enhance the lives of cancer survivors through financial and in-kind assistance and to raise awareness relating to cancer survivorship issues through advocacy, support services and most importantly through education.
Are you thinking of selling or trading that old car, boat, or RV? Why not donate it instead? The Kiona Foundation has partnered with Car Program, LLC to provide an easy-to-use, tax-deductible process to donate your vehicle. As a charitable contribution, your donation could make a big difference to our cancer survivors!
