United Children's Fund
United Children's Fund
United Children’s Fund, Inc. (UCF) was founded in 1994 by Norman McKinney and Sammuel Donelson. Mr. McKinney volunteered in the rural villages and the surrounding areas of Uganda, East Africa in 1994 and 1995. He worked extensively with HIV/AIDS patients and with those suffering severe learning and physical disabilities. United Children’s Fund is committed to improving the lives of the poorest of the poor, the marginalized and the oppressed. Our mandate is building better communities through compassion, love and assistance. We help individuals and families to empower themselves to become self-sufficient by providing education, health care and financial assistance.

If you live in the US or Canada, one of the easiest ways to help the children of Africa is by donating your old vehicle. Its doesn’t have to be running; we provide free towing, handle all the paper work and send you a tax receipt.

Asthma Society of Canada
Asthma Society of Canada
The Asthma Society of Canada is a national registered healthcare charity, operating within a "civil society" business structure. Over its 30-year history it has earned a reputation of providing good quality, credible asthma information and education to Canadians with asthma. Over the past three years the Society has undergone a renewal process to position it for success over the next decade.

Want to get rid of your old car? Car Heaven rewards you and makes it easy to retire your old car for good. Car Heaven is a new and innovative way to take high polluting cars off the road in an effort to improve the air we breathe. Through the Car Heaven Program not only is your car recycled, but also proceeds from the sale of your car's parts could help us reach out to the 3 million Canadians who are living with asthma.

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society
Sea Shepherd Conservation Society
Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, "the most aggressive, determined, active, and effective defender of marine wildlife in the world today" has been on the forefront of marine protection since 1977.

Our conservation patrols are led by Sea Shepherd Founder and President Captain Paul Watson and are crewed by dedicated volunteers from around the world. Neptune’s Navy, our fleet of conservation vessels, includes our flagship the R/V Farley Mowat (a 50-meter ice-strengthened conservation research vessel) and the Sirenian (a 32-meter fast patrol vessel).

From protecting whales in the Antarctic and off of the coast of Norway, exposing the dolphin slaughter in Japan, defending baby seals off of the east coast of Canada, and patrolling the Galapagos Marine Reserve, our direct action and documentation has saved hundreds of thousands of lives of marine wildlife worldwide and brought unparalleled international attention to their plights.

Your support is our most valued asset. Your contributions help keep our ships fueled and active on the high seas protecting endangered whales, dolphins, seals! They depend on us for protection --- we depend on you to get us there.

Epilepsy Ontario
Epilepsy Ontario
The objective of Epilepsy Ontario can be summarized into one statement: to provide support, education and information for chapters to serve those with epilepsy, their families, friends, associates, employers, and the communities at large. The importance of these functions at the provincial and chapter level are not necessarily in that order. Education is seen by many to be the most important function while others believe that support through self-help groups and public information is more important. In any event the Provincial office provides counseling services, library facilities, medical and psycho-social resources, advocacy, educational material and public information pamphlets. It has long been recognized as a valuable service to have someone talk with a newly diagnosed patient or parent of a child that has been newly diagnosed. We believe that Epilepsy and Epilepsy chapters will gain more and more support from the general public enabling them to provide more support for the children, parents, adults, relatives, teachers, doctors, nurses, etc, who are concerned with epilepsy. Epilepsy Ontario Mission Statement – to improve the quality of life for all those affected by Epilepsy.
The Kidney Foundation of Canada
The Kidney Foundation of Canada
The Kidney Foundation of Canada is people working together for a common cause. We are volunteers, individuals living with kidney disease, donors, and staff members -- from all walks of life, all across Canada. Since its creation in 1964, The Kidney Foundation has helped millions of Canadians suffering from kidney failure and related disorders such as hypertension, diabetes, urinary tract infections and kidney stones.

The Kidney Car Program is a fundraising initiative of The Kidney Foundation of Canada. People are invited to donate their old or unwanted vehicles to the Foundation. The vehicles are towed free of charge and recycled, or resold, and the donor receives a tax receipt (the amount varies by region) for the vehicle.
