In addition to our comfort pillows, Our volunteers also make a variety of items that we distribute to our recipients. We have groups knitting and crocheting chemo caps and lap afghans as well as our "infamous" comfort pillows and other items..

We also work with seniors, adult day centers and Adaptive Living Skill students to provide them with the opportunity to increase their self-esteem and to assist them in helping others. In short, we work with many, many caring individuals who wish to dedicate their time, talents and efforts to help those whom they most likely will never meet.

|Prudence Crandall Center for Women|
Prudence Crandall Center for Women was established in June of 1973 by a group women who had a vision of a place for women to meet, share, and support one another. The initial focus of the center was to identify the health, employment and social service needs of area women and empower them to participate in all aspects of community life.

|Heal With Love Foundation|
The Heal With Love Foundation reimburses donors for their lost wages during their recovery from transplant surgery allowing them to remain focused on successful healing.
Although, typically, the recipient's insurance will cover the cost of the screening and surgery, the donor must provide their own financial resources to cover their living expenses such as mortgage or rent payments, utilities and food. Most companies do not provide paid leave for this surgery, so the donor has to cover their time off by using up vacation days and any savings they may have. No one should have to make a choice between saving a life and paying their bills!
