Charities that benefit children

This section contains a list of charities you can donate cars to who will use that donation to help children. Since kids don't drive cars generally the vehicles are sold and the proceeds used to help fund the charity.

Create Now!
Create Now!
Create Now! is an independent, nonprofit organization that was founded in 1996. We change troubled children's lives through creative arts mentoring. The organization serves high-risk and at-risk children and youth who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, orphaned, are left homeless, runaways, foster children, teen parents, victims of domestic violence, substance abusers, gang members or incarcerated. For the past ten years, we've reached more than 9,200 of these problematic children.

Create Now! can use your old vehicles, even if they're junk. We have an automobile company called V-DAC that will come to your home, office or any other location in the United States. They will pick up your vehicle -- even if it's not running. They'll work with Create Now! so that you receive a letter of substantiation for a tax write-off equal to the value of your vehicle. Then, Create Now! will receive a portion of the donation so that we can continue to provide our creative arts mentoring programs to the most troubled children in our society.

Rotary operates a broad range of humanitarian, intercultural, and educational programs and activities to improve the community, our world and its people. They have a polio immunization program, a youth exchange program where children can learn about other cultures, as well as literacy and environment preservation programs.

Are you thinking of selling or trading in that old car? Perhaps you have an old motor home or boat or similar piece of equipment that is gathering dust in your back yard. Why not donate it instead? As a charitable contribution your donation will make a difference.

Easter Seals Virginia
Easter Seals Virginia
Nationwide, as many as 54 million Americans have a disability. Maybe your neighbor has an injury resulting from a motor vehicle accident, or your coworker has a child with cerebral palsy. Your grandmother may be recovering from stroke -- or maybe you are one of every five Americans with a disability. Look around you, and you'll find people of all abilities who are vital participants in their communities despite the barriers they may encounter. The barriers, physical or otherwise, people with disabilities face begin with people's attitudes -- attitudes often rooted in misinformation and misunderstanding. Easter Seals provides answers to help everyone create solutions that change lives... maybe even their own.
Children's Restoration Network
Children's Restoration Network
Children's Restoration Network (CRN) is a non-profit agency focusing on the plight of homeless children in our community. In addition to meeting basic needs, CRN conducts special events to provide a broad range of positive experiences for the children and their mothers to promote healthy and happy community interaction.

During its productive ten-year history, CRN has dedicated its efforts to fulfilling its mission and vision statements working with over 85 homeless shelters throughout metro-Atlanta, serving over 1,500 children each day. While children are our main focus, we also realize that assisting the mother is usually the best way to help the child. Programs are therefore directed towards both children and their mothers to ease their transition through homelessness.

Donate your car, truck or boat, and receive a tax deduction and help CRN at the same time!

Charity Auto Donations, Inc. is the contracted agent for Children's Restoration Network and more than 150 local and national charities and churches. We will pick up the vehicle free of charge, and sell the vehicle. All donated items are 100% tax deductible. The IRS allows you to deduct the fair market value of your vehicle. Vehicles accepted, running or non-running (with some exceptions.) From the net proceeds, 60% to 70% is distributed to the Charity.
