|San Francisco Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals [visit web site]|
Founded on April 18, 1868, the San Francisco SPCA was the nation's fourth humane society and the first west of the Mississippi. It has become one of San Francisco's most enduring and respected institutions, as well as a national leader in saving homeless cats and dogs. The mission of the San Francisco SPCA is to save and protect animals, to provide care and treatment, to advocate for their welfare and to enhance the human-animal bond.
Car donations to the SF SPCA are facilitated by Car Program Inc (the authorized agent of the SF SPCA for car donations).
