Car Donation Charities for the homeless
<< Previous 1 2 3 Next >> | Create Now! Create Now! is an independent, nonprofit organization that was founded in 1996. We change troubled children's lives through creative arts mentoring. The organization serves high-risk and at-risk children and youth who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, orphaned, are left homeless, runaways, foster children, teen parents, victims of domestic violence, substance abusers, gang members or incarcerated. For the past ten years, we've reached more than 9,200 of these problematic children.
Create Now! can use your old vehicles, even if they're junk. We have an automobile company called V-DAC that will come to your home, office or any other location in the United States. They will pick up your vehicle -- even if it's not running. They'll work with Create Now! so that you receive a letter of substantiation for a tax write-off equal to the value of your vehicle. Then, Create Now! will receive a portion of the donation so that we can continue to provide our creative arts mentoring programs to the most troubled children in our society.

This year we hope to feed 2,000 families a complete Thanksgiving dinner. All recipients of the food baskets are referred to us from 65 various social service agencies, senior homes and community based organizations throughout the Bay Area.

| | Children's Restoration Network Children's Restoration Network (CRN) is a non-profit agency focusing on the plight of homeless children in our community. In addition to meeting basic needs, CRN conducts special events to provide a broad range of positive experiences for the children and their mothers to promote healthy and happy community interaction.
During its productive ten-year history, CRN has dedicated its efforts to fulfilling its mission and vision statements working with over 85 homeless shelters throughout metro-Atlanta, serving over 1,500 children each day. While children are our main focus, we also realize that assisting the mother is usually the best way to help the child. Programs are therefore directed towards both children and their mothers to ease their transition through homelessness.
Donate your car, truck or boat, and receive a tax deduction and help CRN at the same time!

With the assistance of businessman Andrew VanderVeer, they established the Bethany Home. Their humble ministry has grown into an international team of nearly 900 dedicated professionals actively ministering to children and families.
Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bethany is a not-for-profit, pro-life, Christian adoption and family services agency. Bethany's support comes through reimbursement for services, and from gifts received from individuals, churches, corporations, and foundations that share Bethany's commitment to improving the lives of children and families. With over 75 locations nationwide and international ministries in 15 other countries, Bethany touches the lives of more than 30,000 people each year.
Bethany is widely known as an adoption agency, but our Christian care extends to people struggling with unplanned pregnancies, infertility, and a multitude of other challenges. For more than sixty years, Bethany has responded with compassion, integrity, and commitment to the needs of children and families.
