The Arc of Northern Virginia
From The Arc's roots as a group of concerned parents 50 years ago, we have spawned a national movement that has led to services where there were none, legal protections recognizing our human rights, and feelings of pride and dignity instead of shame. Clearly, our struggle is ongoing, but we have come a long way. The Arc of Northern Virginia, an affiliate of the national organization, The Arc, was founded in May of 1962.
If you are interested in donating a car simply call The Arc at 703-532-3214 and we will arrange pick-up of your car and you will get a receipt when it is sold.
Ronald McDonald House of New York City
Since 1978, Ronald McDonald House has provided a safe, supportive, and caring environment for children and their families in time of crisis.
Here families find a strong, supportive, and caring environment that encourages and nurtures the development of child-to-child and parent-to-parent support systems.
Every day, children form friendships with other children and, through these bonds, regain a sense of control and experience the fun of childhood.

Alzheimer's Association of Florida
The Alzheimer's Association is the right place to find the answers to your questions about Alzheimer's disease.
Your local office has excellent resources... for persons with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, for family caregivers, and for professionals in health care.
Your donation directly benefits the local office area where you live. Or, you may designate how you would like your donation applied. For example, dollars for services are applied locally, and dollars for research are sent by the chapter to the National Alzheimer's Association to support the national research efforts. The Alzheimer's Association is the largest private funder of Alzheimer's research.
