The objective of Epilepsy Ontario can be summarized into one statement: to provide support, education and information for chapters to serve those with epilepsy, their families, friends, associates, employers, and the communities at large. The importance of these functions at the provincial and chapter level are not necessarily in that order. Education is seen by many to be the most important function while others believe that support through self-help groups and public information is more important. In any event the Provincial office provides counseling services, library facilities, medical and psycho-social resources, advocacy, educational material and public information pamphlets. It has long been recognized as a valuable service to have someone talk with a newly diagnosed patient or parent of a child that has been newly diagnosed.
We believe that Epilepsy and Epilepsy chapters will gain more and more support from the general public enabling them to provide more support for the children, parents, adults, relatives, teachers, doctors, nurses, etc, who are concerned with epilepsy.
Epilepsy Ontario Mission Statement – to improve the quality of life for all those affected by Epilepsy.
|The Kidney Foundation of Canada|
The Kidney Foundation of Canada is people working together for a common cause. We are volunteers, individuals living with kidney disease, donors, and staff members -- from all walks of life, all across Canada. Since its creation in 1964, The Kidney Foundation has helped millions of Canadians suffering from kidney failure and related disorders such as hypertension, diabetes, urinary tract infections and kidney stones.
The Kidney Car Program is a fundraising initiative of The Kidney Foundation of Canada. People are invited to donate their old or unwanted vehicles to the Foundation. The vehicles are towed free of charge and recycled, or resold, and the donor receives a tax receipt (the amount varies by region) for the vehicle.
Our hope is to serve you and your family with helpful information. We have an increasing number of friends at Arthritis who now are benefiting from life income gifts, gift annuities and other plans. Thank you for taking the time to explore the benefits of gift planning.
Want to get rid of that old car, boat or RV? We will arrange to have the vehicle removed and you’ll receive a tax deduction for its value. Trucks, vans, fleet vehicles, trailers, RV's and watercraft are also included in this donation program.
We can accept most vehicles whether they run or not. However, the condition of your vehicle will affect the fair market value of your donation. All you have to do is click on the logo to get started.

HOPE can be found in all the little things that help children reach their potential. Finding effective services for children with disabilities and learning problems can create a constant struggle for their caregivers. The Marcus Institute reduces the stress of that search by offering the most comprehensive diagnosis, therapy and care management possible for a wide range of disabilities and learning problems.
Our facility offers a unique environment. The Marcus Institute serves as a resource for continuous research, training, and education that allows us to share our knowledge and expertise with caregivers, school and social services personnel and the medical community.
Charity Auto Donations helps fund public charities by accepting donated cars, trucks, boats, trailers, RVs, and even airplanes. The donor contributing the merchandise for auction can select The Marcus Institute to receive the proceeds of the sale to support programs and services. The donor receives a tax deduction for the donated merchandise based on the proper IRS tax deduction documents and National Automobile Dealers Association proof of value. For additional information, please call the Office of Corporate Relations at (404) 419-4080 or Charity Auto Donations at (770) 944-2011
